Delivery achievements: Designed and manufactured furniture for shared spaces in student dormitories.
In February 2022, we designed and manufactured the furniture for Tsushima HUB, a student dormitory that opened in the Tsushima area of Okayama Prefecture.
Tokiwa Sangyo designed and manufactured the tables for the shared space and dining hall of the Tsushima HUB student dormitory, which opened in February 2022. Points that addressed the customer's challenges in the furniture for the shared space: <Durability and Impact Resistance> In the student dormitory, which is used by many students, durability and impact resistance of the furniture were required. Tokiwa Sangyo, with its accumulated technology and know-how from manufacturing office furniture, addressed this challenge through its F-BOX service. By using design standards based on domestic regulations and Tokiwa Sangyo's experience and information, we ensured functionality while manufacturing furniture of high quality. Additionally, by conducting design based on information, we reduced costs for the customer, such as prototype production expenses. <Furniture Design to Match Architectural Space> Since sizes and designs that fit the architectural space were required, we conducted thorough research on-site and held detailed discussions with the customer. By expressing the customer's envisioned image in 3D and confirming it together, we achieved a modern and stylish design that suited the architectural space.
